Caf’Conc’ is located within the Marriott Montreal Château Champlain, which opened in 1967 as part of Expo 67. From the moment it opened, the hotel established itself as a showcase for Canadian hospitality.
The name Caf’Conc’ comes from the expression Café-Concert, a European concept combining dining, music, and entertainment in an intimate atmosphere. Bold, elegant, and slightly irreverent, the venue was inspired by the great Parisian cabarets beloved by Toulouse-Lautrec, whose works still adorn the theater walls today.
Until its closure to the general public in 1991, Caf’Conc’ was a true haven of artistic freedom, encounters, and cultural effervescence.
In 2026, we are reviving this gem with a clear ambition: to honor its history while fully embracing the contemporary era.
Welcome to Caf’Conc’, where history and modernity come together to create unforgettable moments!
Artists, producers, and creators: Caf’Conc’ welcomes you to an iconic venue, redesigned for today’s stage.
